- Had a dream where I got offered a job collecting statistics at the top of the Murphy building at Vic in the 70s but then I also got offered a job frying chicken and I couldn't decide and then my secret relationship was outed at the annual go-kart race.
- Tried to reply to texts but my phone kept turning itself off
- Consulted Isabelle on what look I should go for for a Queen Elizabeth themed party that it was unlikely anyone was going to dress up for
- She suggested "hot mess"
- Was concerned that the party is going to be a minefield of people who know too many secrets about each other/have had sex with each other/hate each other/ love each other/are really drunk
- Was going to go out and buy hair dye but my cousin dropped his dinner on the floor/cried/threw up
- We all watched one of the newer Pokémon movies
- We watched the most hideously embarrassing programme in the world where the premise is basically everyone is embarrassing and then they work together to publicly embarrass their close personal friend and also themselves
- My lizard fell asleep in his pool so we had to pull him out so he didn't drown
- I had to spray a white tail spider with flyspray because no-one else could reach

- Two 11-13 year old girls were walking really slowly in front of me with a fancy dog so I pretended to look in my bag until they had gone ahead
- Realised I had forgotten my phone
- Went back home
- Went to the bus stop
- Many, many people were wearing hats/carrying cooler bags/going to Motat/the zoo w/numerous assorted children
- Caught the 030 (not my preferred bus route)
- Leant on some railing on K Rd
- Thought people might think I was an ATM scammer
- Met Isabelle
- Went to Nando's
- Took ages to eat my burger because I was trying to tell Isabelle exactly what I did on the last day of the first half of semester from when I woke up to when I called my mum to come and pick me up on Good Friday because there were no buses
- Burned my mouth a bit
- Went to the art gallery
- The woman on the desk laughed at Isabelle's student ID
- The people on the desk roster were called Pipi, Phillip, Ella and Geva
- Made lots of jokes about needing a degree in art history to work at that desk
- Got lost in the art gallery
- Saw lots of paintings in the 20th century exhibition
- Also saw lots of people with grey bobs/Prada glasses/coloured 3/4 pants/red toenails
- Reminded me a lot of Chloë Sevigny
- Spent a lot of time practicing all the artists' names in my head
- Thought the Auckland art gallery would be a really bad place to be in an earthquake
- Saw three paintings in a row with really dire captions related to artists' mothers dying/never leaving Manchester again/only painting the Mersey in Liverpool etc etc
- Really liked this one painting of Venice. Was really into the idea of going to Venice and painting something that wasn't scenic at all.
- Isabelle made a face at me when I said that I'd been on a boat on the Rhein and I made a face at her when she said that her mother was going on holiday to Morocco with some old friends
- Spent a long time deciding on which postcards to get
- Went down to Fort Street to hold up one of the postcards which was a painting of Queen Street in 1917 (?) to try and compare it to now
- There were more Burger Kings now
- There were no dogs in the middle of the road now
- Looked for a birthday present for Lucy
- Decided not to get the rabbit shaped jelly mold or "sheepshagger" shot glass w/picture of a kiwi bumming a sheep
- Ate a Bubble O Bill
- The gum had gone all gross and I nearly spat it out on the Upper Queen St overpass
- Made a really bad decision to catch the 213X home
- Found out it stops 3 stops after my stop which isn't even that close to my house in the first place
- Listened to the whole of Nico's Chelsea Girls because I was too tired to take my iPod out of my bag
- When I got home Joe Bowman and my mum were laughing about something that had happened on Ellen this afternoon
- We all watched Shortland Street/2 Broke Girls/The Biggest Loser
- Decided not to e-mail Michael McClelland from my email address "cooguy99@gmail.com"
- Maté liked my song
- It was funny because I made that song after I'd just been talking to him about deciphering Grass Cannons lyrics/singing on the Symonds Street Bridge

- Woke up feeling supremely disappointed that my plans for the weekend (to go to the exhibition on at the art gallery) have been postponed until Wednesday.
- Listened to April March.
- Remembered that I had reactivated my Twitter account but nothing had happened on it at all.
- Went on a trip to Mission Bay to get frozen yoghurt.
- Didn't get any.
- Remembered dream I had that my friend pretended to be really good at ice skating and rink rollerblading to impress girls but our other friend told me that he'd only actually been rollerblading at the roller-rink once before and a very overweight girl had fallen on him and he never went again.
- In my dream I was really good at ice skating (not true).
- Saw two number plates that began with "FFS".
- Went to The Warehouse Sylvia Park as the mall was closing to buy pore strips but they only came in a collectors' tin, celebrating 15 years of pore strips.
- Bought discount Easter eggs for the second time this week.
- Went to Nando's but they weren't doing the deal that I wanted.
- Ate McDonald's from Greenlane McDonalds, commented that I would regret it later.
- Regretted it later.
- Was looking forward to American Idol results show, but I already knew that they would use the save so I didn't watch it.
- Watched Sex and the City 2001 online again instead.
- They used the save.
- Told Joe Bowman that I bought all this pizza and I can't eat it all.
- He said that he would come over tomorrow and eat it and also bring his guitar so I could record a parody of "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Pour Some Hummus On Me", unless it was the Domino's hot dog pizza that I bought on New Year's Eve when I was freaking out about kissing someone/not kissing someone/classic NYE debacle which lead to bad pizza decision making. (I didn't even kiss anyone at midnight, first I insisted that it was 11:58, then I said "Get off the road, there's a car coming!")
- Watched Chloë, and The Zooey Deschanel Show on YouTube.
- Enjoyed this parody of "Santa Baby", "Obama Baby".
- Enjoyed April March's "Mignonette" video a lot.
- All these people liked my photo on Facebook but it was a photo someone else took on my camera when I wasn't there, a year ago.
