Day Sixteen: Sunday

• I went to sleep at 8am because my friend got attacked at a 21st last night
• Joe Bowman came back to my house again after going to Titirangi last night so I cooked a proper dinner of pork loin chop/roast potatoes/mushroom + feta sauce (I had to cut the mould off the feta)
• I sent Lucy a message while she was in Thailand about what was going on in Auckland and she didn't reply and I was worried that it was too gossipy (it wasn't that gossipy, I just said that our friends were being kind of weird as usual) but it turns out she only got it today, she is house sitting too so I am going to go there tomorrow
• I like talking to Lucy because she faces the same tribulations as I do as fringe members of the "scene"/other general university/accommodation/bus/boyz tribulations
• The group we're in has a thing where all the guys seem to both love and hate each other simultaneously, they're like neighbouring ranchers on a plantation and Jim comes out onto the porch and threatens John Jr with a rifle for getting too close to Bob's corn crops while he was playing an acoustic set at Wine Cellar but then they all go down to the saloon and slap each other on the back and play darts and it's all okay again until one of them posts a thinly veiled song on Bandcamp.
• My mum was on Facebook and sent me a message saying she bought me a Velvet Underground t-shirt in Singapore
• I felt real self-conscious about people ignoring my event invitation again

• This is my face after trying to stay up to watch the Wimbledon final and also after reading Adrien Brody which I felt a lot of things about but I'm really too tired to articulate a response, and if I did I should write it on my main blog but mostly I felt kind of annoyed, alienated and targeted at the same time, I've had Trace Minerals by Carb on Carb stuck in my head all day

Day Fifteen: Saturday

• This is the first Saturday night I haven't gone out since the 12th of May (besides 48 Hours weekend)
• I got my Saturday trip to Wendy's + awkward hug anyway
• At Wendy's Te Atatu they have chocolate frosty but I noticed too late
• I thought a huge guy was wearing a Franz Ferdinand t-shirt but it was Auckland Blues
• I asked someone to my birthday and they immediately posted a status about how annoying it is to get notifications about events that you don't want to go to
• My mum went to Singapore
• Joe Bowman is carrying all his worldly possessions in a big bag and travelling the streets (between people's houses in the Mt Albert-Mt Eden area)

• This is a photo of a photo of me + my mum at Rocket Park in 1996 (I know it's 1996 because it says Kodak proud sponsor of the Olympics on the back) that I don't remember ever seeing before but we found it when we were looking for the photo I wanted of me holding a giant worm
• I got a B on a paper that I would have got an A- in if I'd done an online test that the whole class got 100% on instead of marching around protesting (mainly walking quickly around town and texting everyone saying WHERE DID YOU GUYS GO??) 

Day Fourteen: Wednesday

• We got this brochure in the mail about this new Indian restaurant called The Empress of India so I walked to Grey Lynn with Joe Bowman to get the $10 lunch special
• The restaurant was huge (it had a mezzanine level) and also empty with about six workers standing around not doing anything so we got a takeaway
• We went to Grey Lynn Park to eat the curry
• There were a lot of dogs + children people that had nannies and stuff and also a woman on a scooter who told another woman that her car had broken down (they knew each other via their children)
• Joe accidentally threw a piece of naan bread when he was talking and caused a sparrow riot
• I talked about how annoying people pretending to be riot girls in the Auckland music scene are
• Picked up some snacks at Grey Lynn Countdown and got some amazing deals but squashed a bag of baps in the process
• Got the last win free bars Bounty Bar which I felt weirdly sentimental about
• The checkout operator said that how squashed my baps were showed that they were fresh
• Texted Maté re: 6 pack of Mountain Dew for $2.99 but he didn't reply, probably too busy touring the North Island/being sick (not sure which members of Cool Cult are sick due to ambiguous Facebook status but I bet it's Maté and Lliam because Ag is the one who uses all the tildes)
• My mum fed my lizard a slug to disastrous/arduous consequences (mainly me trying to scrape slime out of his tiny mouth with a cotton bud while he spazzed out)
• Did an extensive commentary on The Glee Project because I already watched it online
• Worked on my Jeanny cover
• Groaned at some reviewers on The Corner

• Hopefully my poor hair dying effort comes across as some fancy balayage 

Day Thirteen: Tuesday

• Won at Trivial Pursuit: Pop Culture Quiz Night
• Lost at Funworder by one point
• Watched multiple programmes about the police
• Refreshed The Corner so many times waiting for it to work that it became one of my top pages
• Had an uncredited photo on Under The Radar (again)
• Got dye all over my neck

(Things I did since I last posted:

• Started using Google Chrome
• Went to a number of protests/meetings
• Did some exams (mixed)
• Went to three 21sts 
• Went to MOTAT
• Got real into Schweppes' Lemon Lime & Bitters
• Thought a boat was a submarine
• Went to heaps of gigs at Snakepit/Whammy/Lucha Lounge/King's Arms/even Cassette
• Caught the 2am bus heaps 
• Felt more in with the group

Day Twelve: Tuesday

• I woke up really late and it turned out that people wanted to meet me but I woke up too late
• I thought that Nicole posted that she sexcited Cool Cult but I read it wrong
• I remembered that I had to submit a weird form to the faculty office because they rejected my concession to take Italian 232 because they thought I didn't have any credits but I actually had 75
• I looked around for ages for my transcript and then it wouldn't fit in my bag and then I decided to just photocopy it but my printer photocopied it in red for some reason

• Someone reviewed my film as being super trippy and would be better after a massive joint and I was really pleased
• I found my other pack of Hubba Bubba
• I went into the university so I could print out my form and hand it in
• I saw Joe Trotman freaking out in the information commons
• I took the form to the arts faculty and they said that I should take it to the SELL office instead
• I took the form to the SELL office and they had no idea what to do with it but said they would send it upstairs to the German department
• I said please don't do that because it's an Italian concession
• I went back to the information commons to try and locate my friends
• Vince got confused and had already left the university to get an edgy haircut
• Isabelle was at a Legalise Love meeting where she met a straight guy who asked her to go to a We Are The University meeting but she said no
• I tried to look casual and downloaded some of my documents from Dropbox and read over them so it looked like work
• Apparently I've written 200 pages of fiction this year but I didn't know because I only use TextEdit
• My mum texted me Where u at
• My mum was annoyed that I was just hanging around in the information commons and came and picked me up
• I ate KFC for the first time in a few weeks
• I watched Shortland Street/The Middle/this really excellent programme called Coppers or something where people ring 999 for terrible reasons
• I talked to Joe about my one year anniversary of not getting with anyone coming up and whether I should have a celebration
• I watched the late news/The Closer/a documentary on primordial dwarfism that I'd already seen
• Isabelle was upset that the documentary on the queen tomorrow is on Prime because she can't get that channel and had also bought a copy of Time magazine today because it had the queen on it
• I watched Toddlers & Tiaras and ate a large slice of cheesecake

•  (It was a really good episode, there was a boy, a woman with gold teeth, a pig and a denim division)

Day Eleven: Monday

• I was going to go to my Russian class for the first time in the second half of the semester to sign up for the oral exam but I didn't really want to at all and then I woke up too late anyway.
• I saw that one guy gave every 48 Hours film in the heat I was in 0.5 stars with really mean spirited reviews and his own film 5 stars so I created a fake persona and was positive http://reviews.v48hours.co.nz/users/vladimir-romanov
• My mum came home and said she was reading some film reviews at work and this Vlad guy really knew what he was talking about
• I enjoyed the new episode of Girls
• I burned my mouth on a potato
• I had my last piece of Hubba Bubba from when I wanted to do a slow motion gum burst but then couldn't be bothered. Maybe I will put that into something else.
• I thought about what it must be like to have see through ears
• Today is kind of weird for me because it's the first May 29th since I was seventeen that I haven't been in the process of doing something for Tim's birthday
• Sometimes I feel weird watching Girls because sometimes the Marnie character reminds me too much of myself.
